During the last episode of Season 5, the girls meet aging socialite Bitsy von Muffling right before and during her Hamptons wedding to flamboyant, and presumably gay, cabaret entertainer Bobby Fine.
She appears again in the middle of Season 6 pregnant with Bobby's baby. She advises Charlotte, who's also had trouble becoming pregnant, to try acupuncture like she did. In the movie, we do see a brief reappearance of Bitsy, seated halfway down the table (right next to Stanford) during the dinner party.
In "Hello, It's Me", she runs into Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte at a brunch spot. It is revealed in "Little Black Dress" that Bobby died during COVID-19. She runs into Carrie again in "Chapter Three" after Carrie had problems reading that chapter of her new book.
