Bomb Cyclone is the sixth episode of the second season of And Just Like That.... It aired on July 20, 2023.

Synopsis[]

While assisting Carrie in her search for a new computer, Seema extends an invitation for her to share a summer rental house in the Hamptons. Meanwhile, Miranda finds temporary accommodation at Nya's place and also spends time at Che's. Nya is in the process of filing for divorce from Andre.

On another front, Herbert, who is running for city comptroller, expresses his desire for Lisa to attend his campaign rally, but unfortunately, it coincides with her being honored by the MoMA as a black filmmaker. In a surprising revelation, Lily shocks Charlotte and Harry when she casually announces her plan to lose her virginity to her boyfriend later that day.

Carrie has a significant role as the keynote speaker at WidowCon, a conference for bereaved women. To support Carrie during a difficult time, Miranda insists that Che, who is feeling down after losing a TV pilot, accompany her to the event. However, a severe snowstorm hits New York, disrupting everyone's plans and various events.

In the midst of the chaos, emotions run high as Miranda and Steven express their pent-up feelings to each other, leading to their decision to divorce. However, Steve remains reluctant to move out. Meanwhile, Che and Miranda both realize that their relationship is strained and mutually agree to end things, hoping to salvage their friendship.

Carrie reaches out to her former fiancé, Aiden, who is now divorced and living in Virginia.

Bomb cyclone is a another term for explosive cyclogenesis, the rapid deepening of an extratropical cyclonic low-pressure area.
