Background[]
Herbert was born to Eunice Wexley and an unnamed man. He grew up with his mother before moving to New York and marrying Lisa. As of "Alive" they have been married for 20 years, with 2 young kids. Like his wife Lisa, he is friends with Harry Goldenblatt and Charlotte York.
In Season 2, Herbert decides to run for political office. Lisa supports him even though she's struggling managing everything at home and in her own career. Herbert tries his best to support Lisa but doesn't realize how much she does. When Lisa gets pregnant, Herbert is delighted and supportive. He comforts Lisa after she miscarries.
