Met Cute is the first episode of the second season of And Just Like That.... It aired on June 22, 2023.

Synopsis[]

Carrie and her podcast producer, Franklyn, establish a regular Thursday rendezvous. As the Met Gala approaches, Carrie grapples with deciding who to accompany her as her "plus one." However, her plans unravel when her tailored dress fails to fit properly. Opting for a solution, she dons her Vivienne Westwood wedding gown for the occasion.

Meanwhile, Miranda adjusts to her new life in Los Angeles, seeking ways to stay occupied while her partner Che spends long hours in the studio and performs at clubs. Che becomes disheartened when asked to shed pounds for their upcoming TV pilot.

Seema ends her relationship with Zed upon discovering he still shares a residence with his ex-wife, although he clarifies that they have separate living quarters.

Separated from Andre, Nya calls him with the intention of engaging in a steamy FaceTime encounter, only to learn that he is in the company of a woman he claims is a musical collaborator.

Carrie, not ready for a committed romance, feels uneasy when Franklyn extends an invitation to a social gathering.

Trivia[]

The title is a reference to the "Met" and meet cute.
"Met" is a reference to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Metropolitan Opera.
