Background[]
Season 1[]
Seema is a real estate broker who works in New York City. She helps Carrie sell her old apartment and try to find a new one. Throughout the process, they become friends. Seema is single but casually looking for love, although she can be quite picky. At the end of the season, she meets a man who owns a club. They hit it off and Seema seems happy.
Season 2[]
Seema continues her romantic relationship with Zed. However, their relationship hits a roadblock when Seema learns that Zed lives with his ex-wife, although they have separate living arrangements. This discovery leads to Seema breaking up with Zed, as she initially misunderstands their living situation.
She contemplates reconciling with Zed but faces a dilemma when he asks her to invest a substantial amount of money in a new club venture. Seema later becomes romantically involved with Ravi Gordi, a film director looking for temporary rental accommodations. She helps him find a place and they fall for one another, even saying "I love you". Seema feels finally happy- however, Ravi has to leave the country to film for 5 months so they temporarily say goodbye. Seema and Carrie fly to Greece together at the end of the season.
