Sex and the Widow is the seventh episode in the 2021 revival series, And Just Like That.... It aired on January 13, 2022.

Synopsis[]

Carrie goes on her first date since Big's death due to her editor. Miranda gets upset when Che doesn't respond to her message. Charlotte gets competitive with her husband.

Carrie's new book talks about her widowhood. To counter its somber tone, Carrie's editor, Amanda, suggests adding a hopeful ending. To that purpose, Carrie considers going out after Seema has created her an account on a computer dating site.

Miranda is disappointed that Che never answered her emails. Later, her and Steve's lukewarm attempt at sex quickly fizzles out. Carrie meets up with her computer date, Peter, a handsome widower. The evening starts awkwardly but loosens up with drinks, only for both to be mutually humiliated when they drunkenly vomit in the street.

Harry is upset that Charlotte refuses to apologize for knocking him down during a couples tennis match with Lisa and Herbert. After multiple failed IVF attempts, Nya and husband, Andre, are now trying to get pregnant naturally. Charlotte helps Lisa organize a silent-auction fundraiser for their children's school.

A lunch date with Carrie is auctioned off with no bids. Carrie finally bids on herself, only to be outbid by Peter, her computer date who teaches at the school. During the auction, Miranda runs into Che, who apologizes for missing Miranda's emails. They go somewhere to have sex.
